Cooper Larson Info
Cooper Larson was a special 4 year old boy who touched the hearts and lives of many.
At age 2, Cooper was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. One year later he was diagnosed
with Brainstem Glioma, a non-operable form of brain cancer located on the brain stem.
He lost his battle with this terrible disease on October 12th, 2008. We miss him dearly.
Cooper loved baseball; he was a bat boy for a youth baseball team here in Kennewick and
he had a very special experience with the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Seattle
Mariners at Safeco Field in Seattle. Cooper had great strength, courage, and spirit
throughout his battle with Type 1 Diabetes and Brain Cancer. His cheerful attitude
never wavered. To honor Cooper‛s love for baseball we are building a little league sized
replica of the Mariners Safeco Field at the KAYB youth baseball complex in Kennewick.
We are 75% complete with the project but need additional sponsors to complete the last
25% of the project. We continue to offer the following individual and corporate sponsor
packages to finish and complete the project as designed. All sponsors receive permanent
recognition on a bronze sponsor wall located behind Cooper‛s statue at the field.
